Designed to work with most existing hardware, GMS offers restricted key control without costly investment in new hardware.
Retrofitting most existing systems with MX and MX Alpha is easy and affordable. Security managers can rest assured that the keys used in their facilities cannot be duplicated at hardware stores or big box retailers.
These cylinders are designed to be master-keyed, grand master-keyed, and great-grand master-keyed and will work with both traditional-style cylinders and interchangeable cores, all in one system.

- Keys for MX Cylinders are only available from Authorized Dealers and Distributors to prevent unauthorized key duplication
- MX Cylinders are made to exact specifications to allow Master Keying and Grand Master Keying
- Specially designed top pins are pick-resistant and used in all MX Cylinders
- Uses Schlage Specifications SC1 or SC4 for easy pinning and cutting keys
- MX Cylinders can be used in multiple applications including mortise, rim, knob, lever, Euro-profile cylinders and LFIC interchangeable cores

MX Alpha – Restricted Key Control System
The MX Alpha system is easily pinned using Best A2 pinning system diameter pins. Investment in equipment to pin or cut keys is minimal. MX Alpha Cylinders can be used for multiple applications including standard mortise, rim, key in knob cylinders, LFIC and SFIC cores.
